About Us
The Church of God (Ecclesia) Higher Secondary School, Mawlai Nongkwar, Shillong, is a Private Educational Institution, founded, owned and run by the Church of God (Ecclesia Mawlai, Shillong. Established in 1976 initially as a Primary school, it grew in strength & stature to become a High School in 1988. It is a co-educational institution having classes from Nursery to X, recognized by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE). The School has also opened the Higher Secondary Section (Class XI Arts).
The institution strives for excellence in all fields. It has a record of 100% success in the Board Examination with Rank and 1st division achievers. Besides academic excellence, the school has also earned laurels in many other inter-school competitions.

It is indeed a great pleasure and pride to announce the launching of our School’s website, on this day the 1st June 2022.
Having experienced the two years of Pandemic which had disrupted the physical classroom learning, the management felt it is the need of the hour to host this website. It will provide a comprehensive information to our students, parents and well wishers about the school calendar, the admission procedures, the different activities, the assessment procedures and various in house facilities.
Inspired from our motto “Wisdom, Truth & Perfection”, we strive and prepare individuals to lead a meaningful and delightful life apart from the curriculum which showcase their academic excellence.
